Grandparent's Day

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY – Friday, September 11, 2009

We want to announce our annual Grandparents’ Day for Friday, September 11. We schedule Grandparents’ Day at this time to coincide with the national recognition of grandparents on Sunday, the 13th. We want to make the school accessible to all of our grandparents, so please take note of the following.
¨ Grandparents will park in the teacher parking spaces.
¨ The spaces in the front of the main campus will be for reserved for grandparents that need handicapped parking.
¨ Please note the starting time so we don’t conflict with the regular morning traffic.
¨ We will not be able to offer lunch to grandparents because of the large numbers.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

* 8:30 – 9:30 Kindergarten visitation at the Early Childhood Center
* 9:00 – 9:30 Registration / Refreshments – Cafetorium (Main Building)
Visit the Book Fair (Gym) – Tour the School on your own.
* 9:30 – 9:45 Program in the cafetorium (Main building)
* 10:00 – 11:00 Classroom visitation – grades 1-5 / The Book Fair will be open
after the visits

Please note the start time of kindergarten visitation. We have tried to work a schedule so that grandparents will be able to visit in both buildings if they have a kindergarten student and students in grades one through five. The teacher’s name and room number will appear below. Also, please return the form at the bottom of the page so your child’s teacher may plan for the visits.
